KAPRAL LEADS BACK MTN IN SHUTOUT OF MTN POST

Alex Kapral threw a two hit shutout tonight at Tambur Field @ Misericordia. Kapral...A member of the PIAA State Champion Dallas HS Baseball Team hadn't pitched in about 6 weeks but said before the Ballgame that he felt good and was ready to go. Well...Kapral was right ! He went the distance in a 6-0 shutout win for the Back Mtn Hawks Sr Legion Team. Patrick Zarola who handled the catching for Kapral went 2-4 on the night including a 3 run HR in the bottom of the 6th inning. Darren Kerdesky added a pair of singles, stole 2 bases and scored a run. Nick Kachur had a 2B, a stolen base and a run scored. J.D Barrett had an RBI single in the bottom of the 5th. C.J Cercone, Matt Mathers, Josh Holdredge and Kapral also had hits for Back Mtn. Mathers, Lucas McGeehan and Josh Lydon scored the other runs for Back Mtn. Mtn Post was lead by Bafuno and Taleroski who each had singles.
